Last weekend, I went to a baby shower for my friend Susan. That is a little wall hanging that I bought from Leslie Cooper. She paints the most adorable little pictures. Susan is going to have little Mary Martin any day now. I can't wait to meet her.
Here is the beach crew...Katherine and Clark, Annslee and Matt, Nick and I and Anna and Ethan.
OOPS...Don't tell anybody that you saw us kissing!
Bocce was the game of week. If we were ever looking for the boys then we knew just where to find them...playing bocce. They really enjoyed it!
It took us about 12 hours every morning to get everybody up and ready for the beach. I think we used a million gallons of sunscreen while we were there.
What fine young gentlemen...the guys cooked us women folk a gourmet spagetti dinner one night. Wasn't that sweet? Even sweeter than that, they left us all the dishes to do when we got done eating:)
We definetly enjoyed many meals of fresh seafood at some restaurants on the beach.
We enjoyed some nice cold daquaries (Anna, Katherine, Annslee and me)
After our wonderful time at the lake we headed down to Destin with some of our friends to top off the week. We stayed at the Seesocks condo which brought back many crazy memeries from going there when we were mere children:)
We took a family picture while we were at Lake Martin with my family at the end of July. It was so encouraging to all be together and get to relax and play!
Here we are...
Sara brought her cool "ice cream maker ball". We put all the ingredients in the ball and then throw it around for a while and it made some yummy ice cream!
Nick and I gave my dad a tiger mug for his birthday. How cute is that? Let's just say that I had a little more to do with picking it out than Nick did---War Eagle!!!
Happy birthday to everybody! Well, at least it seemed like everybody. We celebrated all the July birthdays in my family while we were there and so my mom, dad and Mandi all shared a yummy Hummingbird cake made by Mary.
Here are the men---Hart, Nick, David and my dad! David took us on many long wonderful boat rides on their boat. It was so relaxing to feel the wind blow on you and the heat of the sun. Oh man, I wish I was back there right now!
YAY!!! Nick got up on skis!!!! Way to go Nick.
We had a blast tubing when my family went to Lake Martin at the end of July.
