Go Falcons!!

Nick is coaching the Falcon's football team again this year. It is a ministry through our church to children and families in the community that are unchurched and from different cultures. The teams are made up of Redeemer children and children from neighboring housing projects. He has loved continuing to build relationships and invest in their life while at the same time teaching them football. I have been coaching the cheerleaders as well and am thankful that I am able to be apart of the ministry too.
Last Friday night we had a pep rally at the church to kick off the season. It gave me chill bumps seeing all those children and families hearing the gospel and cheering for the munchkins. The players ran throught the banners and then the head coach of eah team introduced the players. Please pray that the Lord would continue to bless this ministry and use it to glorify Him!

Bedroom curtains

This summer I did a couple of projects around the house. One of which was I made curtains for our bedroom. Well, I guess that I just partially made them:) My mom and I found shower curtains at Pottery Barn for a great deal. We cut off part of the width and sewed it to the bottom and made them into curtains that fit our windows. My mom has been wanting to see the finished products since we bought them so I wanted to post them so she could see them.
