the brannen bunch

Well, as you can see we have finally updated our blog. We promise that we will not let it go as long next time. Alot has been happening in the little Brannen family! The first and one of the most exciting things is that we bought our first home. It was so exciting to see how we found the house and God worked out every detail to go smoothly as we were purchasing it. We were able to get out of our lease with no problems and we were able to close very quickly so that it happened during my fall break from school. Which was a huge blessing. We feel so blessed and pray that we will use our home to share God's love to everyone that enters it. Part of the reasons things have more hectic than usual is that we have had many opportunites already to open it up to others for dinners, parties and shower. Nick and I both love to entertain and it has been so much fun to do so.
Something else that has been giong on lately is that Nick went to Richmond for two weeks for work. He had training at Wachovia Securities head quarters. The exciting part for me was not that he was gone for two weeks (because I missed that sweet boy so much every day-it seemed like forever) but it was exciting because I had the opportunity to go and visit him for a long weekend. We had the most wonderful time ever!!! We drove to Washington D.C. for a day and then we drove to Williamsburg for a day. The rest of the time we stayed in Richmond. It was so much fun just getting to spend time together and laugh together and talk together.
I just wanted to give you an update on what was going on in our lives. We still have more pictures to come but don't hold your breat for them...
