Chocolate Chip Cookies!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can I just say that I love baking and eating chocolate chip cookie dough and the cookies right out the oven. I just doubled a recipe of cookies and have eaten about half of the dough already...yummy:) The timer is going off so I better go and get them out of the oven so that they will still be soft.

We went to Augusta, GA on Saturday for Victoria and Tyson's wedding. It was so beautiful and we had wonderful fellowship with many of my college friends and their fiancee/husbands. Here we found a quiet place to sit, eat and visit. top to bottom-Katie and Scott, Nick and I, Katie and Stuart, Aaron and Haley and Anna Thompson.

Check this out...what are the chances of this? Nick and I were driving through a neighborhood in Athens and saw this sign of a construction company. It just so happens that my brother-in-laws name is Edwin Hart Johnson. How crazy?!? (Ok, Hart you better start leaving comments on this because we heard that you are a ghost reader...you are busted now!)

After riding we had a delicious dinner on the water. It is just so amazing to think back on the past two years and see how much God has blessed us. It has been the most wonderful two years of my life. I am still just amazed at how God continues to pour out his blessings and grace on our marriage. It amazes me how Nick continually encourages me, loves me and never stops sacrificing for me! I don't deserve someone so wonderful!! I know that I probably sound cheesy but it is so true and I so humbled when I think about how sweet he is and how he loves me like Christ loves the church! What an amazing example that we have to model after.

We went to the Lake Keowee this weekend with sweet Christine and Russ Mills. We had a blast playing on the water but we had quite an adventure on Saturday with the boat. The boat decided that it did not want to crank. So Nick put in the spare battery and it cranked for about ten minutes which was just long enough to get about two miles from the cabin so the boat could quit working again. We got some random people to jump us off and it died again. Let me tell you, it is not as easy to jump off a boat as it is a car. When you jump off a car you park the car close to the other car it they stay in one place. But on the other hand two boats that are next to each other on the the lake on the weekend of the 4th does not stay in one place. They like to crash into each other and hit other boats and a whole manor of things like that. So we gave that idea up and decided to get towed back to the dock. It just so happened that our friends Megan and Lee were staying on the same lake so they came to rescue us. They were so sweet and started pulling us back. It was a slow ride. This is a a picture of us getting being pulled behind them. About 30 minutes later the rope snapped and once again we were hanging out in the middle of the lake again. So to say the least we had a 5 hour adventure getting a our boat back to the dock.

We are the champions my friend!!!!!!!!!! They won, they won, they won! Nick's church softball team was the champion of their league. Last Thursday they had three consecutive games in the tournament and they stomped all three teams. YEAH! How fun it was to watch 4 hours of softball...wow...I guess it is good practice to being a mom:)
