4 months old!

As usual, I am a little late on this post but our little Molly Jane is 4 months old! She is getting more and more fun and active by the day! She smiles and giggles like crazy now! It is the sweetest thing to watch Will make her laugh. She thinks it is hilarious when he plays peek-a-boo with her at the dinning room table. He makes her laugh, she makes him laugh, and they both make Nick and I laugh!

She has started to really chunk up on her legs and arms. It seems that over night she started to get some rolls. She is still nursing well but does not care so much for the bottle. She usually eats 5-6 times a day for about 10-15 minutes. She has started getting distracted while she eats if there is stuff going on around her. This is been a little tricky sometimes if we are at a new place or there is lots that she wants to look at.

She still loves to suck on her hands but has not picked a favorite finger yet. Still waiting to see if that happens. Just in the past week or so she has started to grab for things. I was enjoying being able to hold her in my lap and not worry about my food getting attacked. But I guess those days are over--she has too much to learn and discover now.

She usually sleeps from about 8pm until 9am and usually eats once some time during the early morning. Morning naps are almost always in the Ergo while we are on the go. The baby carrier has become a life saver for us. She does not like to sleep in her car seat so this has been a great alternative while we are out and about. She usually takes a long afternoon nap in her crib while big brother is sleeping. I typically lay her on her belly and I hear her "talking" for a while before she actually falls asleep. If I go in there and peek on her she has usually flipped over or is up against the bumper or doing something like in the picture. She such a little rascal! But she usually falls asleep with her back up against the bumper on her side.

She is an absolute joy and a happy little baby! Hearing her cry is a very rare thing. She just goes with the flow and is very laid back. We are so thankful for her sweet and precious spirit!!
