This week we took a field trip to the Mayfield Dairy Farm with my mom and Hannah who were staying in Atlanta for the week! Will was fascinated to learn that milk comes from a cow and not just from the grocery store:)
They got to do some "milking."
Will was a little disturbed that Hannah wanted to keep eating the paper in the bucket but being the big cousin that he is he "taught" her the right way to milk a cow:)
We ended the morning with some DELICIOUS ice cream! Hannah almost ate an entire bowl of strawberry ice cream by herself. She has some good taste for a one year old!

How fun! Will's great grand father was a dairy farmer so he comes by milking cows naturally! I remember many a day getting up at the crack of dawn and helping milk the cows-a lost art nowadays! nothing like smelling the aroma of fresh milk and fresh cow droppings!
