A White Christmas!!

For the first time since the late 1800's we had a white Christmas! The snow flurries started Christmas night and when we woke up the next morning we found 2-3 inches on the ground. The roads were frozen so church was cancelled and we were stuck at home. We bundled up and headed out side to play in the snow.

This was Molly Jane's first snow!

Will enjoyed "eating" the snow. We were very thankful for the big jacket that Grammy and Pops gave him for Christmas the day before. We put it to good use!

Molly Jane had just about had enough of the cold....

Daddy is so much fun to play with!

Sweet kisses!

After we were all tired, cold and wet we headed inside to warm up by the fire.

Merry Christmas!

After a fun filled day with my family we headed back home to wake up on Christmas morning with just our family and later to be joined by Nick's family. This was a first time for us to be home on Christmas morning and we loved it!! Will is at such a fun age and for the first time understood what was going on. He woke to find this.....

When he walked in the room he said, "Look at those trains! OH. MY. GOODNESS!" I love this little two year olds enthusiasm about life!

He was pretty pumped about his Georgia jersey, pants and helmet.

Do you see something wrong with this picture? Ha!

Molly Jane got her first little purse!

I love this little peanut!

Sweetness!

This was the best picture we could get of the two of them together. The only thing that kept Will still was the bag of gummies he got in his stocking.

Yay for her first little bow that stayed in her hair! This makes momma very happy!

Grammy, Pops and Aunt Kelly arrived around 10:00am for more fun!!!

Will digging into his stocking from Grammy and Pops!

One of my favorite parts of Christmas morning is sitting back in all the mess and watching the kids play with their new gifts!

Grammy brought a turkey and some dressing and I made some sides and we enjoyed a yummy Christmas dinner together!

We finished dinner off with a birthday cake for Jesus!
Born that man no more may die,
Born to raise the sons of earth,
Born to give them second birth.
Hark! The Herald Angels sing,
Glory to the new born king!!

After dinner Kelly and I put on our matching PJ's and then told them their good byes.

We snuggled up by the warm fire after a wonderful day! I had not been feeling well all day so as soon as I layed my head down I was out.

Merry Christmas to all and to all good night!
Oh, I can't forget to tell you about the snow!!!! The day ended as a white Christmas!!!! More pictures to come....

Merry Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas from all the cousins!!
Claire (4), Porter (3.5), Will (2.5), Cooper (4)
Molly Jane (8 months), Hannah (15 months), Paul (6 months)

Christmas eve eve we all arrived at my parents house and then shortly after that we headed to David and Mandi's house for a delicious dinner of soup and cornbread. Mandi had worked so hard decorating and cooking all day and everything looked wonderful. The kids even had their own table.

After dinner Will and Claire entertained us in their Auburn attire and dancing.

We headed back to my parents house to get a good night sleep before more fun began on Christmas Eve morning.
We started Christmas Eve with an amazing breakfast of homemade cinnamon rolls, sausage, fruit, yogurt and the list goes on....
My mom was in heaven holding two of her grand babies while wearing an apron!

After breakfast the kiddos ran to the living room in their matching PJ's to open presents. We were so sad that Hannah was sick and they were not able to come. They were greatly missed!

The fun began....

Molly Jane and Claire.

Molly Jane got her first baby doll!

Will got a fire station to go with his fire truck he got last year.

All the boys got matching "real" tool boxes. This was a huge hit! Thanks Gigi and PoppyDoc!

Me and my sweet hubby!

As you can see, Poppy Doc had lots of good little helpers!

After we finished opening presents the kiddos were sent outside to jump on the trampoline to get out all their energy while we prepared for the big Christmas lunch.

My mom's side of the family joined us for lunch! It was quite a feast!

After lunch there was more present opening....these were the two cutest presents from 2010!

Our little peanut!

My mom was totally shocked and surprised when she was brought 12 place settings of Fieastware! All she could do was cry with excitement!

Boy, do I love these two cuties!

After a fun filled and exhausting day we loaded up and headed back home to see what Santa brought. I think we arrived home at 11:00pm, put the kids to bed, put out gifts and made a breakfast casserole and then I think Nick made it to bed by 2:00....I'm tired just thinking about it.

Karen and Ben's Wedding

I have over 350 pictures from Christmas but I needed to get caught up on last weeks wedding festivities first.

Will and I had the honor of being in Karen and Ben's wedding last Saturday. I was a bridesmaid and he was one of the ring bearers. This was his first little wedding to be in and he did a great job! I was very nervous not knowing that this little 2 year old boy might decide to do as he was walking down the aisle. But he pulled through and did just as he was told.

The rehearsal dinner was hilarious!! I have never heard so many funny speeches about anyone other than Ben. The audience was rolling hearing about the crazy days of Ben. There were many wonderful things said about Karen and her love for the Lord and the change in Ben's life in the past few years.

Will was pumped to be wearing a tux. He said it was like what daddy wears to work everyday--Nick does not wear a tux to work but he does wear a suit and tie so to him it was close enough:)

I teared up when he put it on. He looked so grown up and handsome!

Anne, Megan and I had fun helping Karen get ready.

When he saw Karen he said "I LIKE white. It's so pretty!"

It was a challenge trying feed and entertain him without getting food on his tux. Thankfully we found these painting smocks in one of the nurseries of the church.

Will and the flower girls found some toys to play with between pictures.

Besides a little panic right before I walked down the aisle he did GREAT! He looked so sweet carrying the pillow down the aisle.

They stood up there for a while...

...and then they sat down when they got tired.

It was FREEZING outside but we tried to pretend like it wasn't for the pictures.

Will and Melissa were dancing, playing and knocking each over and having the best time at the reception.
