A Series of Christmas Parades

The past three weeks have been a blur!! I feel like we have been in a Christmas whirlwind just like all of you I am sure. The first weekend in December we took advantage of all the fun Christmas parades in the surrounding areas and we went to one Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday morning!
Thursday night Nick was out of town but the kids and I bundled up and went to meet some friends downtown. It was freeeeeeezing....
Will set on the curb with all of his playgroup buddies and had lots of fun looking at all the different floats.
He was mesmerized by all the floats. I must say our downtown parade is very impressive. Some highlights for him were the motorcycles, horses, bands, firetrucks, nativity scenes, tall bikes, very fancy floats and of course at the end was Santa Clause.

Molly Jane got all warm and cozy in Alyssa arms and fell fast asleep.

Friday night we went to a small town close to here that had "Christmas at the Park." We ate free hot dogs, chips and hot chocolate for dinner and then took a train ride, saw a live nativity scene and played on a fire truck. These three boys were pumped to say the least!

We met the Halls there and had lots of fun with them.

Saturday morning we went to another parade with the Jacksons.

Will saw lots of tractors at this parade which of course made his day!
It was a fun weekend enjoying all the festivities!
