Best of friends

Watching these two laugh, play, giggle and teach and learn from one another is a blessing to be a part of.
I am thankful to be their momma.

February told by my phone

I just realized my poor blog has not had any attention in almost a month.
This thing called being a mother and a wife have kept my days and nights full lately.
I failed to get out my real camera much so I'll let the pictures from my phone give you a little recap from our February.

1.  I cared for this pitiful sweet boy who had a virus that completely wiped him out for 10 days. He could hardly get off the couch and had no appetite.  After being super brave while giving blood at the doctors office he said "mom take a picture of my sticker and text it to dad."  Ha!  Kids these days.

2.  This little one burned her hand pretty bad on the stove top.  I kept it clean, medicated and covered while it healed.  All of this was happening while Will was sick and I had the stomach virus.  We were struggling around here but somehow daddy stayed well thankfully so he could still work.

3.  Once we got everyone well we were excited to join the real world again and take a morning outing to a local "zoo" in town.

4.  Pigtails are almost a daily thing around here.

5.  This boy worked so diligently writing his name on all 15+ Valentines.  Those "W's" were tricky though, sometimes they liked to turn into "M's".

6.  Sissy had a "Wear your favorite PJ's and bring your favorite friend to school" day.  I think she is pretty edible.

7.  This handsome boy was on a sugar high after a day of parties and fun at school on Valentine's Day.

8.  We ventured to Auburn for 3 days last week to spend time with my cousin from Canada while sneaking in some good quality time with my family.  We even got to visit with the Cordells all the way in Ukraine.  Thank you Skype!

9.  We had a fun Chick-fil-A picnic at the park taking advantage of the 70 degree weather in February.

10.  Will is becoming such a big help in the kitchen these days and loves to help me measure and stir (and taste of couse!).

11.  These two kids can make me want to pull my hair out at times but when I walk in the room and see this kind of sweetness it just melts my heart....

12.  This semester we have started hosting community group at our house.  We eat dinner, study Philippians and have a prayer time.

13.  We celebrated all the Brannen January birthday's with some delicious ribs and a yummy meal.

Molly Clare took good care of her "little sister" Molly Jane.
Pops got a jumpy house for the kids and they LOVED it.

 13.   We inherited these beautiful pictures from Nick's dear MawMaw who passed away in September.  I have been wanting to find just the right picture to hang there and these couldn't be more perfect.  Nick said they remind him of going to her house as a child which makes it even more meaningful.

February, you have been a good month.
Thank you for bringing so much warm weather.
