A Great Ending

A couple of weeks ago we celebrated a wonderful ending to a fabulous school year for Will and Mj.
The last day was a very fun and festive western field day.
Before heading out I wanted to take a picture of them on the front porch like I did at the beginning of the year.
The pictures show exactly how Will felt about it....
He was not impressed with my efforts at all.  He did not crack a smile.  He was over it before I even started.

Thankfully, he changed his tune once we arrived and a good time was had by all.
Getting to know some of the other moms has been a huge blessing this year .
I might be a little biased but I think both Will and Molly Jane had some of the most excellent teachers this year. Ms. Christy and Ms. Angie so tenderly loved and cared for my quiet and reserved Molly Jane.  Even though sometimes she was sad when I left they were always right there to hold her and make her feel safe and cared for.  I'm thankful for their nurturing spirits and their desire for these 2/3 year olds to know the love of Christ.

Will made some very dear friendships over the past few years that have turned into relationships outside of school.  I look forward to seeing how these boys grow up to together and encourage one another in their walk with the Lord.
Ms. Darby and Ms. Melissa abundantly overflow with joy and love for others. The scripture memory was one of the greatest things I hope Will will take away from this year.  I am so thankful they took the time to go over and above to teach these kids to hide God's Word in their heart.

As we close the end of this year I am in disbelief that Will will be in Kindergarten next year. We are excited, nervous and anxious as we pray and try to figure out what the best option is for next year.  It seems that we have two great choices and we are prayerfully considering which one will be best for him and our whole family.
