Well, good morning Amelia Island. What a nice surprise to be here.
Our dear friends invited us on a Monday to go to the beach with their family two days later. We thought about it for about 2 seconds and without hesitation we said "Absolutely, yes!" After saying "yes" we worked out all the crazy logistics of 5 people missing school/work/schedules etc. and managed to pack our little family up and head down to the beach.
We were exhausted by the day-to-day of life and in need of a some time of refreshment so we were so grateful for the opportunity. What a sweet trip it was and the timing couldn't have been better.
This is one of my absolute favorite pictures to date of this little girl of mine.
We had fun times with sweet friends of all ages,
slumber parties after long days of playing hard in the sun,
and roasting s'mores out by the ocean were just a few of the highlights.
We snuck in some quick family pictures that actually surprised me that everyone was looking AND smiling.
Have I mentioned that I love this guy. He is a keeper.
Very grateful for friends and opportunities like this.
