Gymnastics and Such

This fall Will has been taking gymnastics and is really enjoying it! Multiple times a week he asks if it's Thursday so he can go to gymnastics. It's only an hour each week so it's just the right amount of commitment for a four year old, in my opinion.  It's a small class with 5 boys and 2 teachers.

They begin each week by doing all sorts of stretching and other fun mat work.
His favorite is the "rock-n-roll" move.  If you come for a visit I am sure he will demonstrate it for you:)

This is his biggest fan in the observation room watching every move he makes. I think someone else would love to be out there doing gymnastics with him:)

I was only able to snap a few more pictures before I was scolded by 3 different coaches in the gym for using a flash.  Apparently, it might mess up the older girls doing their routine on the bars. Uhhggg! The gym is huge and and not very well lit so this is all I got before having to put my camera away.

Looks like a summersault off the mat...

Working on that handstand...

His sweet coach Eric offered to take a picture after class since I wasn't able to get many pictures during practice. This is one of his best little buddies, William, that is in his class.  Same little friend that was on his soccer team.

Will, the photographer-in-training, documented our whole way home.

We were all happy to see daddy was home mowing the grass when we got home.

Hugs for dadddy!

On another note, we have cranked up our hosting lately.  We have started hosting community group again each Wednesday night.  We fellowship while eating dinner and then study the Word together from 6:30-8:30 each week.  In addition to that, we hosted a wedding shower last night and tomorrow I am hosting a party for two friends that are starting a business of custom made children's clothing.  Nick and I truly enjoy hosting and are thankful for a house that allows us to do it. However, my body lately is telling me to take it easy and rest since baby will be here in a month.  Today is my "day off" from hosting so I have done a lot of football watching and sitting in the driveway watching the kids play.
