I can't believe this actually happened. I can't believe I have a child in Kindergarten. I was a ball of emotions anticipating the start of school. Excited, nervous, anxious, sad, happy and thankful. We had a hard time deciding where to send Will to Kindergarten but once the decision was made we were excited and looking forward to this next phase. The day before school started we went to his open house and met his Kindergarten teacher. He was all smiles and was so thrilled!
New backpack, new lunchbox, new water bottle, new shoes and new uniform…he was ready. But was his mama ready? I couldn't believe I was about to have a child in "big school". It was a new territory we had never embarked on. We laid it all out the night before, set the alarm and tried to get some sleep before we started this new adventure the next morning.
Look at this handsome buddy all ready for his first day. I couldn't be more proud of him!!
It was good to see some familiar faces walking in on the first morning.
