Father's Day

We celebrated the most amazing dad on Father's Day.
And two amazing granddaddies.   Thankful for these amazing men that love me and the kiddos so well.

Summer Fun List

Each summer we make a Summer Fun List.  It's really just what it says…its a fun list of things to do in the summer. It's fun for all of us and keeps us being intentional with our time together and helps us do things that we might not do ordinarily.  Here are a few of those those fun things we did together….

Splash Pad!
Numerous days with friends at the pool!
 Summer cookouts with friends!
 Playdates at the park!
Catching frogs and play at the pool all at the same time!

 Donuts!

Stylin and profiling on our way to church!
A little yard work in the mix!
 FroYo!

 More time at the pool!
Milkshakes for Sissy being brave enough to swim across the pool!

Creative TeePee building in the back yard!

Loosing Teeth!

Spend the night parties!
 Weekend visit to the Grandparents!
 Lawn mower Shenanigans!
 Being a HOT MESS!

Art Work on the wall and floor (did I mention he is a hot mess?)

 Lots of snuggle time!

And don't forget mama's need to have a little fun every now and then too--wild night roller skating!

And last but not least VBS! Fun, exhausting, unforgettable and a big week for all!

Swim Team 102

Swim Team pretty much dominates our June.  Will is a fish and could literally swim all day.  He loves it and so we do swim team.  It's five mornings a week plus swim meets 1-2 evenings a week.  It's a lot and it's pretty all consuming but it gives us structure to our days, gives the kids exercise and teaches them to be strong swimmers. All great things.  So for now it's a good thing for our family.  Will enjoys competing and never seems to get nervous out there.  This past summer Molly Jane practiced with the pup squad.  She began the year freaking out to put her face under water and and by the end of the season she was "swimming" to the other end of the pool with minimal help from her coach.  I was so proud of the progress both of them made!  So fun to watch their progress!

 Swimmers take your mark…get set….go...

We were some proud parents of this kid.

Our neighborhood was well represented on our team and some meets on the other team.  It's fun to do life with good friends.

Will had a pretty cute fan club that came to support him at every meet.
This was one of Molly Jane's coaches and her side kick Lily.
A great season for all!
