And so it begins! Last Tuesday we went to meet Will and Molly Jane's teachers at their open house. Will will be going on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Molly Jane will go on just Tuesday's while I tutor. This is her first time in "school." Eeek.
On Thursday Will was such a brave boy and went to his first day. He skipped right in the room and saw familiar faces from last year which was good. He has always been pretty independent and has enjoyed these type of settings for which I am thankful. No tears, no crying just a little reservation and then he was quickly distracted by the fun art project they were beginning.
Molly Jane was all dressed up and ready for her first day but I decided at the last minute to keep her home because she has not been feeling well lately. I figured this was my last Tuesday before I start tutoring again so she stayed home while brother went. We took "first day pictures" anyways;)
Will has been telling me he is going to show Molly Jane how to go to school. He said "Mommy, I'll tell my friends Eddie and Noah to share with her because she has never been to school before." :)
Hopefully her little cold and teething will be gone by next week and she will be feeling 100% and ready to go.
