Molly Jane is a busy little momma, always caring for her baby dolls and taking care of all their little needs. She is my little nurturer so without much question we planned her a baby doll party to celebrate her 2nd birthday. Her friends were asked to bring their favorite baby doll and stroller and we "mommied" the morning away.
First, we took them for walks up and down the driveway.
Then we took them inside to feed them, change them, cook for them, read to them and put them night night. It was such an easy birthday party to set up and plan for. I just set up all our baby stuff in one room and made little stations for the girls to play at.
The girls stayed busy taking care of their babies.
I then read one of Molly Jane's favorite baby doll books to them. Molly Jane had a slight melt down at this point of the party but thankfully daddy walked in the door about that time and helped out so I could finish the book:)
I clearly forgot to add "house keeping" to the list of responsibilities that a mother has...
Once our babies were taken care of the little "mommies" took a break to eat some lunch and cupcakes.
My mom and I made diapers out of napkins and safety pins and filled them with gummy snacks.
The birthday girl was a little unsure of all the attention during the "Happy Birthday" song.
But she knew exactly what to do when it was time to blow out the candles and eat the cupcake!
Each little guest was given a baby blanket (made by my sweet mom) as their party favor!
Molly Jane is still talking about her "baby pawty."
Hope she knows how much we love her little two year old self!
