Easter

Our Easter celebration with my family started a day later than planned because we stayed in town for precious Piper's Celebration of Life. It was a beautiful service with many stories of her spunky, sassy, and adoring personality while grieving with her family all the while remembering the great hope we have in Christ.  What comfort for her mom and dad to be confident that she is in the arms of our loving Savior and that they will one day see her again....for eternity.  We have a risen Savior who has conquered death.  And that makes it a Happy Easter!

When we arrived in Auburn the family was ready to begin the treasure hunt my dad had been working hard to put together.  The clues took us all over the neighborhood we grew up in.
The kids LOVED it and sprinted from one clue to the next. This particular stop had a bag of bread tied to it so the kids could stop and feed the fish at the park.

We were greeted by my dad and the two "babies" who stayed behind to have an Easter egg hunt at the house.
The kids always take advantage of any chance to ride the cart with PoppyDoc.
The end of the treasure hunt was completed by a box full of goodies my mom put together.
Dinner was finished off by an early birthday cake for Molly Jane.  Even though it completely fell apart and was a pile of crumbs it was still delicious.
The kids were adorable in their matching blue and white outfits my parents got them.  The weekend surely was not the same with out the Cordells. We missed them so much!

These were our best attempts at a family picture.

Happy Easter!
