In June we had a full week of VBS. This was Will's first year as a "big kid"in a real class and he loved it! Since I was helping at VBS Molly Jane was able to go to the 2's and 3's class and she enjoyed it as well. Each morning when I would drop her off she would say "I be bave (brave) mommy. I not cry."
Almost daily, we still find ourselves singing two of the VBS songs. They are both verses set to such cute tunes and a great way to hide God's Word in our heart....
Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
1 Peter 3:18 For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God, He was put to death in the body but made alive by the spirit."
Here is my handsome Olympian.
Last week both kids went to Lizards and Lilies Camp.
They had a blast!! It was a camp some of the middle schoolers at our church organized for 2-5 year olds. They played games, did crafts, ate snacks and learned about being safe in God's hands.
These were our best attempts at getting a picture together...
Each day when they got home they ate their all time favorite lunch....a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
We are all smiles about such a gourmet lunch!
I am slightly obsessed with these two kids.
