Last week some mommy friends and I took our kids on a "field trip."
The first stop was a state park in which we did some playing, running, climbing, sliding, swinging and throwing sticks, pine cones, rocks and all the things that little ones love to throw.
The second stop was an itty bitty airport in which we had hopes that we would see some planes land or take off. We saw neither of those but we did see some planes drive around the parking lot and rev up their motors. That proved to be enough thrill for this group of munchkins.
The moms did our best to carry on conversations while opening ketchup packets, cleaning up spills, taking kids to the potty and trying to meet all the many little needs that 11 preschoolers and toddlers have. This is such a fun and crazy season of life!
