We are on the home stretch! It's crazy to think that next Thursday we will get to meet our new baby girl or boy. The c-section has been scheduled for October 25th at 7 a.m. I have felt a sudden burst of energy and a new excitement in the air as we are nearing the finish line. Plans are made, crib sheets, clothes and burp clothes are washed, diaper bags are packed the belly is growing by the day. The kids thank God for the "baby in tummy" every night and are getting excited about meeting their new little sibling. We are getting closer to deciding on a name but that is still a work in progress.
We had a fun little get-away this past Saturday as we celebrated the marriage of two friends in Macon. Nick's parents were very gracious to keep our kids all day so we could spend the day together and attend the wedding along with a morning brunch. Here is a picture after the wedding of the belly. And for the record, I am proud to say I wore high heels for 5+ hours. It was quite an accomplishment for me seeing that I have only worn flip flops this whole pregnancy:)
