Will loves with every kind of tractor in the world! He can name and knows the difference between an excavator, a combine, a back-hoe, a bulldozer, a dump truck and the list goes on. However, the general name he calls all of them is a "bucket tractor" so of course we had to have him a "Bucket Tractor Birthday Party"!! He has even made up a song about bucket tractors and it's really sweet when he sings it to Molly Jane!
With a 3 week old I had not done much planning but since birthdays are a huge deal to me I wanted him to have a fun party so we threw it together at the last minute with the baby in toe! I tried to keep it simple, easy and fun for the kids.
I made a dirt cake with gummy worms and put it in one of his dump trucks.
I ordered little hard hats for the kids to wear at the party and then they took them home as party favors.
Some of the girls busy at work!
We played pin the bucket on the tractor. Pops did an amazing job making this!
Playing in the sandbox and with Will's tractors seemed to be a big hit too!
After we sang Happy Birthday to Will he sang his "Bucket Tractor" song to everyone.
Getting a t-ball stand was a pretty exciting gift!
The kids had "dirt, sticks and rocks to eat."
Aunt Kelly is the best!
Happy Birthday to my tractor-loving, dirt digging 2 year old boy!
