Yep, we saw all those last week! Nick took a few days off work between Christmas and New Years and we found ourselves busy cleaning, taking down Christmas decorations, home repairs, home improvement projects and all the things life throws at you. We thought to ourselves we want to make the most of our time together and not just get caught up in the mundane task that life brings. So we did a little research and found out that Zoo Atlanta was having a 1/2 off special for all adult tickets in the month of December and the kids were both free so off we went....
Our first stop was the home of Willie B! Most of you know that Will's nickname is Willie B so of course we had to get a picture with the real deal:)
Will was completely fascinated by hearing the lion roar, the tigers growl, seeing the monkeys play, watching the pandas eat bamboo, learning about the many different kinds of reptiles and many, many more. I love his desire to learn about new things!
This was moments before Molly Jane had a diaper explosion ALL OVER her outfit!!! I have no idea how it happens or why it happens but when it happens it is a serious mess!!! This is one of the first times I have gone anywhere with out a change of clothes so of course it would happen. Good thing we thing she is pretty cute--even with poop all over her:)
After seeing the all the animals Will said, "Daddy, that Giant Panda was my best animal!"
This little guy was so brave at the petting zoo! Usually if an animal comes anywhere close to him he FREAKS out but he remained so calm and actually pet some of the animals.

Daddy treated us to a ride on the carousel and the train at the end! Will picked the tiger which was the animal of my choice too:) War Eagle!

The train ride ended a wonderful day with the family at the zoo!
I am thankful for the time our family can spend together! Even though there are many moments with a 2.5 year old and 9 month old that can seem totally crazy I hope I never take for granted these sweet times.
