Last weekend we enjoyed a wonderful time at the lake with my family!
Mary and Hart hosted and organized a relaxing weekend filled with a few lots of celebrations, boat rides, yummy food and lots of good times together!
As you can see when we all get together it is quite a crew.
We never lack having something to celebrate.
Friday night, after eating grilled hotdogs we celebrated all the May birthdays --Bradley, Me, Porter and Will--with delicious cupcakes.

Saturday morning the girls ventured out to have brunch and celebrate Sara and Bradley's baby girl #2 that will be here soon!
The scrumptious breakfast was finished off with strawberry pie. Yep, we had pie for breakfast. When the Rouse family gets together we never lack in good food and sweets.
She got lots of cute matching outfits to keep the girls warm in Ukraine this winter.
We headed back to meet the kids and the daddies for some fun on the lake.
The weather was unusually cool for May so no one dared get in the water but boats rides and Jet Ski rides were definitely on the agenda.
Back at the cabin the kids did lots of wrestling, tackling, playing legos, laughing, screaming and who knows what else....
And this little peanut wanted to climb up and down the stairs the whole weekend.
Story time and prayer time with Pops is always a favorite before bedtime.
The big kids (or generation #2 as we are sometimes referred to as) joined in the "bedtime party."
Sunday morning was spent getting ready for family pictures in the precious matching outfits my mom made for all the cousins. It was quite a feat getting 7 children to look at the camera and smile. There may or may not have been some bribery going on:)
After the photo op we came in to celebrate Mother's Day for the best Gigi in the world with scrumptious Ice Cream Coffee Punch.
We love you Gigi and PoppyDoc! Yall are the best!
The weekend was finished off with PoppyDoc and kids going on a nature hunt outside while the mamas packed up and cleaned up inside.

As always it's so much when we all get together! I love my family! I am thankful for them!
