Scrawberry Pickin'

We did a little scrawberry pickin' this week as some might call it.

There is no doubt it was love at first bite for these youngins.

I think the ratio of picking to eating was 1:1.

They were so juicy and sweet and irresistible.

We were covered from head to toe (literally!).

Our basket was overflowing.

Once all our hard work of scrawberry pickin was done we ran around in some sprinklers, played in a humongous sandbox, took a hayride and played in a corn pit.

After all that, it was clearly time to go home and bath all the sweet juicy goodness and dirt off.

Today I turned the fruits of our labor into a couple of these for some of the Memorial Day Cookouts this weekend.

By the way, happy Memorial Day to all of you out there.

And thanks to all the brave men and their families for sacrificing so much for our country!
