As I shared in my previous post, we had a big weekend surrounding the Auburn v. UGA game.
We had a house full 13 of my family members who came in town to watch the game, delivered a trailer full of furniture, to see our house for the first time, squeeze in a little shopping and just have a good time.
Of course the kids had fun hanging out around the clock together. Here they are eating breakfast together before heading out to tailgate.
All week Will had been telling me he was going to wear his Georgia jersey but the morning of the game he gave into peer pressure and decided to wear his Auburn Jersey to be like his cousins.
I can't really blame him though:)
If only Porter and Paul would have been there it would have been complete.
But it was such a treat having these guys around!!
Many friends representing both teams spent the day at the tailgate hanging out.
This looks like a pretty important father and son conversation. Wish I knew what they were saying.
I had the sweetest date around!
Everybody chipped in and brought many yummy sides and desserts to go with the hamburgers and hot dogs.
After all the cleaning was done we headed to the game. My family was sweet to babysit our kids so Nick and I could go to the game together.
Even though it was not much of a game and Auburn did not show up to play it was still a fun day of festivities!
After the full day of tailgating and the game on Saturday the girls squeezed in a shopping trip to some nearby outlets after church on Sunday. Oh, and the furniture Sara and Bradley brought us is such a blessing. They needed a place to store it while they are in the Ukraine for 3 years so we gladly are "storing" it for them. It's a win win situation in our new house.
Well I am off to bed so good night and war eagle for now.
