This is what my kitchen looked like last Thursday and Friday...
Some might call it a disaster. Others might call it a mess.
We were doing a whole lot o' planning, shopping, cooking and cleaning getting ready for the grandest tailgate of the year and a house full of 13 peeps for the weekend.
While I made a pot of chili that was 5x the recipe,
these two made a pot of "Lego chili." I clearly could not have done it without their help.
Our goal was to make food in quantity to feed the masses.
Some things on our menu were:
Chili (5 times the recipe)
Double batch of fudge brownies and peanut butter frosting
Double batch of southwestern breakfast strata
Biscuits, yogurt and fruit
Chicken, feta, roasted bell peppers, broccoli and other toppings for big salads
For the tailgate I bought:
140 hamburgers and buns
90 hot dogs and buns
200 water bottles
It was a big weekend folks.
But well worth it for one of my favorite weekends of the year...the UGA v. Auburn game.

Oh, to be a part of that would have been heaven!!! So, so sorry we missed it; but after weighing the pros/cons, we just decided to stay home :( Grammy will have to have a heart to heart talk w/Mr. Will. :) Looking forward to seeing all my children soon! Love to all; grammy
