....Christmas!
Boy oh boy! We sure have had fun decorating the house this past week. Each year as the kids get older it just gets more fun doing these things together. I love holidays, traditions and family so this month is my cup of tea.
Last Saturday we stayed in our PJ's all morning and hung wreaths from all the windows in the front of our house.
This is my dream come true to have wreaths in all the windows. I feel so grown up.
Daddy was our hero to hang them on the upstairs windows.
We clearly could not have done it with out the help of Spiderman.
and this little sugar bug.
Next, we moved inside to decorate the house and guess who Molly Jane's favorite person was in the nativity scene?
Yep, "Baby Jedus"....she even asked to sleep with him for a few nights. She's slightly obsessed.
I got these vintage ornaments at an Estate sale last summer and have had fun decorating with them. It adds a fun flair to things.
Here is round two of the costume for Will. I would go out on a limb and say that Will is in a different costume 80% of his life. He goes from one costume to the next all. day. long. and usually wears one to bed.
What happens when a cowboy, who has recently dropped his afternoon nap, stops moving for more than a minute?
Yep, that's right. He is instantly out. I have to keep a close eye on this sweet boy between the hours of 4-7 because he will curl up in any soft spot and crash. Poor little guy!
Day 2 of decorating consisted of getting the Christmas tree.
This time we had batman with us.
Did I mention that he likes to dress up?
This little peanut has a special thing going on with her daddy. She is the apple of his eye and thinks he hung the moon. He is quite smitten himself.
Oh my word. My heart just melts looking at this. I love these two to death.
She is no doubt a daddies girl.
Everything is more fun with you go with sweet neighbors and friends.
Next came the decorating of the tree. Will was very into the helping hang the lights while Molly Jane carefully examined each ornament.
She sat quietly next to the box and pulled out each ornament one by one.
Of course her favorites were any of them that resembled a baby.
The decorating was finished off by MJ reading us the story of "Baby Jedus's" birth.
Have I mentioned that I love holidays and all the fun that comes along with them?
