Monday was a fun day! We woke up to 6-8 inches of snow on the ground! Pretty much everything in the town was closed because of the dangerous roads so Nick got to stay home and play with us.
First thing on the agenda was to build a snow man.
We of course had on our Auburn gear all day getting ready to watch the National championship game later that night.
It's hard to believe it's already Molly Jane's second big snow since she has been born.
Once Will's hands and feet got cold he was over it and was ready to go in side and warm up by the fire. "No more pictures mom!!"
After a warm lunch and a long nap we went out and got 8 cups of snow to make
Paula Dean's Snow Ice Cream. This is all you need to make it...
8 cups of snow
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix and enjoy!
It was enjoyed much!
By the late afternoon we were getting a little cabin fever so we ventured out on the icy roads to some friends house and enjoyed some chili and the first part of the Auburn game. We headed home to put the kids to bed and to cheer on the Auburn Tigers to the National Champions!!!
