Second trip to the "Big Water"

A few weekends ago we took another quick trip to Fripp Island with some friends. By the time Molly Jane was 6 weeks old she had been to the beach twice. She is quite the little beach bum! Tyler, (who is a co-worker of Nicks) and his new bride Kelly invited us to go with them to his uncles beach home. It is supposed to be a 4.5 hour drive but it took us 6 hours to get down there. All 6 of us drove there in my Volvo and Tyler and Kelly were great sports putting up with all the stops we had to take with the kids. For a couple that has only been married two months and doesn't have kids I am totally amazed at how sweet they were with our children. Will was serious about wearing his blue shark goggles that Lelia gave him for his birthday.

He has a big crush on Ms. Kelly and I really can't blame him! She was so sweet and spent a lot of time playing with him.

After a long day at the beach, the kids were snuggling after getting all clean. They don't even look related in this picture, do you think?

Saturday night we took a walk on the beach after a delicious dinner of grilled steak, veggies and twice baked potatoes.

Tyler and Nick

Running around in the "big water" never got old.

We were back on the beach by 8 am the next morning because my little early bird was up by 5:30 both mornings. Bye bye sleeping in on vacations!

We tried hard to catch some huge crabs hiding in the rocks but we were all a little too scared of their claws.

Thank you Tyler and Kelly for a wonderful time at the beach!
Building sand castles is a little more challenging in the sand off the east coast then it is in Florida but Will still enjoyed digging.

This is the sweet little face I got to sit next to on the way home (and it only took us 5 hours getting home so we made some improvements on our time)!
