Once again another month has flown by! This has been a fun month watching her wake up and come alive. We just can't get enough of her smiles and coos! They are more and more frequent and are just so sweet. She still is very laid back and has been a great sleeper and eater. I give the Lord all the praise for the this!
Most nights she sleeps from 9p until 6a, eat and then goes back to sleep again until 8:30 or 9:00. She loves being in the Baby Bjorn and spends most mornings in it while we are on the go. She does not sleep as well as her big brother did in the car seat so it is just easiest to carry her in the carrier and she is happy. My one goal before I had her was to get her to take a long crib nap while Will does in the afternoon and so far she has been taking a long 3-4 hour nap while he does.
Nursing is still going well. We have not been to her 2 month check up yet but at 7 weeks she weighed 9 lb 10 (still smaller then Will was at birth!) but 2.5 lbs more than she did at birth. People always comment on how petite she is. I think she is just going to be a little thing which is quite different than her brother.
This has been the month of road trips for us. She went to the beach twice, Auburn twice and Montgomery. She has been a good little traveler which I am very grateful for but mommy is ready to stay home for a little while.
She enjoys the bouncy seat and has just started to kick the toys hanging from it. Will continues to learn how to be gentle with her but is so sweet. If she cries he usually goes and pats her and says "Be OK Molly Jane" or "Calm down Molly Jane" or he will say to me "Molly Jane hungry mommy." It is sweet to see how he already cares for her and wants to take care of her little needs. He loves to hold her and he actually picked her up on day and carried her to me....I just about panicked but thankfully she made it safely to me. He likes to tickle her and try to make her laugh and he gets thrilled if she smiles are reacts to him.
We are so blessed to have this little angel in our family! We love you Molly Jane!

my mom says when she smiles she looks just like will :) so i guess she isn't the mailman's daughter :)
